National Nutrition Month®

HarbinSTRONG Fuel Sessions are an opportunity for employees to learn about a variety of wellness topics and receive valuable information in an informal setting.  Bring a sack lunch and don’t hesitate to join late.

Monday, March 19 – Fuel Session: What’s Really Shaking with Salt?*

Noon – Administration Boardroom, Main Clinic

Sea salt, table salt, salt substitutes: which one should I use?  How much salt is too much?   Led by Marcy Pugliese, RD, LD, this session will provide answers to these questions and reveal much more on “What’s Really Shaking with Salt?”  Enjoy a taste testing of salt free seasonings. 

Wednesday, March 21 – Fuel Session: Diabetes 101*

Noon – Administration Boardroom, Main Clinic

Do you, a family member or close friend have diabetes?  Here is your chance to learn the basics of the disease and the principles of the diet. Join Peggy Williamson, RD, LD, CDE, for an engaging discussion about Diabetes and how to help yourself or someone close to you make better food choices.

Thursday, March 29 – Fuel Session: Diabetes 201*

Noon – Administration Boardroom, Main Clinic

Building on what was discussed in Diabetes 101, Peggy Williamson, RD, LD, CDE will discuss more details about the Top 10 diet changes to help keep Diabetes under control.

Mondays at 5:30 p.m. – Group Walks at Ridge Ferry Park

Tuesdays at 12 noon  – Weight Watchers At Work

Weekly meeting is held in the Administration Boardroom at the Main Clinic.  Employees are welcome to join at anytime.  Email sking@harbinclinic.com for more information.

Thursdays at 12:05 p.m. (note time change) – Lunch Walk in Summerville Park

Meet at the back door/employee entrance to the Main Clinic
