Group Exercise Class Demonstrations
Vitality Center instructors will be offering “mini” group class sessions during the HarbinSTRONG Wellness Expo. This is a terrific opportunity to try some of the classes offered FREE to employees every week at the Vitality Center. Instructors will be available to answer questions and help you choose classes that fit your lifestyle and fitness goals. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

Body Therapy – Blends yoga, Pilates and ballet based exercises to alleviate discomfort in the lower back. These exercises release pressure in the lumbar spine, maintain spinal range of motion, and develop abdominal strength to support the lower back.
Cardiac Sculpt – Great cardiac and ab workout for beginners to advanced. Offered at noon and designed to fit in the “lunch hour”.
Cycling – Indoor cycling class with added core strengthening
Every Body Move – Moderately paced, lower impact class fosters an atmosphere of health using a size sensitive, safe approach to the plus-sized body in motion. Cardio, strength training and flexibility in 20 minute increments nurture and promote an active lifestyle. The class is taught by Ellyn Houston, CES, GFI. Through healthy eating and exercise Ellyn lost 200 pounds over ten years ago.
Kickboxing – High intensity aerobic workout using kickboxing bags
MTS – 12 week weight training period, guiding you through more than 40 workouts and 3 levels of fitness (with nutrition and healthy eating tips), building endurance, muscle and strength.
Rep Reebok – This weight training class utilizes free weights of varying sizes to strengthen & tone the entire body. 32 progressive Periodization routines/ formulas switch every 3 weeks to avoid hitting a fitness plateau.
R.I.P.P.E.D. – Totally body, high intensity program, using free weights, resistance and body weight, combines components of R.I.P.P.E.D. – Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance and Diet suggestions.
Shadow Boxing – Combination of punches & kicks while gaining kinesthetic, cardio, strength, improved endurance and muscle tone benefits. It’s a great core workout that does not require gloves or specific boxing equipment.
Yoga – Takes you through classic yoga postures linked together with breathing, strength and stretching to facilitate emotional and mental wellness.
Zumba – Cardio – based workout with sculpting exercises. Inspired by Latin music and dance.
